Fig Balsamic Marinated Salmon

Pan-seared salmon in a sweet-tart fig balsamic coating, served with asparagus.

Fig balsamic salmon pieces served with asparagus on a white plate

Let’s make it.

  1. Cut the salmon fillet into large cubes.
  2. Toss the salmon with 150 g Freya Gurme Fig Balsamic Spread, olive oil, salt, and freshly ground black pepper.
  3. Marinate in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes.
  4. Preheat the pan thoroughly. Place the marinated salmon fillets in the pan and cook for approximately 6–8 minutes, turning to brown the sides and cook the fish through; timing depends on the size of the pieces.
  5. Sauté the asparagus in a separate pan with a little olive oil and salt for 3–4 minutes, until slightly firm.
  6. Serve the salmon hot with the asparagus.
